Electronic Engineer for Ophir Photonics Hardware Team
We are looking for an exceptional Electronic Engineer who can design Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) including all stages of the development cycle from concept and definitions to testing and validation. Most PCBAs include a microcontroller, Analog to Digital converter, analog and digital circuitry and power supply circuitry

As an Electronic (“Hardware”) Engineer in the Ophir Optronics Photonics Group, you will partner with the Hardware Team to develop electronics for optical measuring equipment. In this role, you will report to the Hardware Team Manager
You Will Make an Impact By
Initial definitions and concept for circuit design including specifications and documentation
Block diagram and power supply scheme
Selection of suitable electronic components – analog, digital, power supply, mechanical (e.g. switches, connectors)
Schematic design
Managing PCB Layout by external contractor
Tests and validation of final PCB Assembly
Managing Design Reviews and documentation throughout the design process
דרישות התפקיד
BSc in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar
3+ years experience in Electronic Design including digital, analog and power supply circuits
Experience with Schematic Capture tools (e.g. Orcad Capture), PCB Layout tools (e.g. Allegro Viewer), Electrical Simulation tools (e.g. PSpice)
Experience with PCBA testing
Experience using lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, signal generator, etc.)
Good knowledge of English
Preferred Skills
Experience in Firmware coding – advantage
Experience in FPGA design – advantage
